FAQs – Eternal Memorial Designs in Johnstown, PA
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does it take for a memorial marker to be delivered?
A: You should receive your headstone within 60 to 90 days after you have approved the design.
Q: Why would I pre-arrange a memorial headstone or cemetery marker?
A: While some people do not really think about how their memorial sites will look, many people take comfort in knowing that they have a say in how they are aesthetically remembered. It can also be easier on one’s family during a difficult time to have one less thing to worry about.
Q: What are the cemetery monuments and markers made of?
A: Most memorial structures are made of granite or bronze. Granite is more durable and can come in different colors, while bronze is a touch more expensive, but beautiful, nonetheless. We are proud to use the finest granite in our headstones.
Q: Is a memorial necessary if the body was cremated?
A: It is not necessary; however, many families still choose to memorialize their cremated loved ones, whether it be for genealogical purposes, or reflection purposes.
Q: How is the stone designed?
A: You choose the design, and our team will work with you to ensure your satisfaction. Our professionals then use a sandblasting technique to ensure smooth lettering.
